The building is beautiful and the gardens are well maintained. Parking was easy and convenient. I found that very helpful.
The restaurant was short-staffed. This impacted service speed a bit.

the staff were pleasant. the room included tea and coffee making facilities. it also had a tv with several channels. the location seemed ideal (i explored the local area). the breakfast had a nice selection. fresh fruit was available. it also included hot options such as eggs. (the pastries were delicious). the building had well-kept gardens. there was ample parking. it was secure.
the room's window was quite small. it limited the amount of fresh air i could get.

the hotel features outdoor spaces that include attractive trees and water features. the breakfast service offered a superb selection of options, ensuring a variety of choices . i saw that bedrooms are decorated nicely.

riverside retreat
lovely linens homemade biscuits good coffee
i found the staff very cute and the pub quite lovely, two fires were actually on. our room had nice linens and pillows and several thoughtful touches. there was a radio, homemade biscuits, a fan heater, an iron, an ironing board, a hairdryer and a good coffee machine.
music from the bar filtered upstairs to the rooms. it started around 7 o'clock in the morning and only stopped late into the evening.

The staff provided friendly and cute service. the breakfast service was particularly good. Our challenging demands were met. every member of staff seemed good .

the room included fresh milk in the mini fridge. it had gorgeous linens and pillows and thoughtful touches. a little terrace overlooked the river from our room. the bed was confortable.

the building had an olde world feel. the bar area was really lovely. there were fabulous secret gardens and riverside joy. the hotel features a great garden with a mill stream.

The breakfast was excellent. i had supper one evening. The food was very good and portions were large. the hotel served an delicious triple roast and was bang on time. there was a great choice at breakfast.
